This solution utilizes the Direct standard for secure communications through XDR. It provides a seamless user experience for sending and receiving CCD/CCDA files and is ideal for users who need to select a Health Information Service Provider (HISP) to enable these communications.

SES XDR leverages the SES Direct HISP services to provision secure email addresses, issue and authenticate digital certificates, and connect to external directory services. This allows for the simple and secure transmission of health information to any third party.
